DongDaemun

Katelyn’s mom is here from Canada, so Sunday after church Kate, her mom, Nash, and I went to Dongdaemun for some sight seeing, shopping, and dinner. We went to the underground markets, street markets, indoor markets, and Doota, which is this incredibly huge and new indoor shopping complex. I bought some silver hoop earrings for a 1,000W, an amazing Mongolian vegetable/noodle/tofu dinner for 7,000W, and yummy strawberry frozen yogurt with strawberries on top for another 7,000W.

Afterwards, we all went to what the locals call “the boo,” which is this nice new shopping area with neat architecture and lighting, bars, clubs, etc near Uijeongbu station. It is absolutely beautiful at night.
